Hey There, I’m Franchesca…
I’m a Trauma-Informed Somatic Coach and Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 500, YACEP) who believes that everyone deserves the freedom to be themselves — to feel at ease in their own skin and connected to who they are. I also believe that mind-body practices, somatic work, and nervous system healing can help open that door.
Over a decade ago, I was longing for that same kind of freedom. I wanted to feel like I could just be myself, without the heaviness of overthinking, people-pleasing, or second-guessing every move I made. I believed it was possible, but I wasn’t sure how to get there.
What I didn’t realize at the time was how disconnected I’d become from my own body — how much I was replaying the past, worrying about the future, and missing the parts of life I cared about most — and how much that disconnection was keeping me stuck in patterns I didn’t even realize I was still carrying.
The deeper I explored trauma-informed yoga, somatic work, and nervous system healing, the more I came back to myself. I learned how to notice what was happening beneath the surface, to be with the parts of me I’d spent years avoiding, and to build a relationship with my body that felt steady, supportive, and grounded.
That’s what led me here — not because I figured it all out, but because this work continues to guide me back to myself. It has brought me home to myself in ways I didn’t think were possible a decade ago.
